We are looking for a maestro of internal procedures, client acceptance, quality, and completion of project files. With an expert blend of meticulousness and strategic thinking, this person ensures that our organization operates like a well-oiled machine, adhering to internal policies and regulatory requirements.

The Compliance & Operations Analyst is the gatekeeper of client acceptance, carefully evaluating potential clients to ensure they meet our ethical and risk standards. Their keen eye for detail and knowledge of compliance regulations enables them to assess risks associated with client engagements, protecting Grant Thornton’s integrity and reputation.

What we are looking for

The GT Ambassador:

1.           Is responsible for reviewing client files to ensure all required documentation is complete, accurate, and up-to-date.

2.           Monitors client files to ensure adherence to internal quality requirements and compliance standards.

3.           Ensures that client files meet internal quality standards and guidelines, and you will develop or contribute to the development of quality assurance processes, establish benchmarks, and implement measures to improve file completeness and compliance.

4.           Collaborates with internal teams to gather and verify necessary information for client files. You may also communicate with clients or external stakeholders to collect missing documentation or clarify any compliance-related requirements.

5.           Provides training and support to internal teams on file completeness, compliance requirements and best practices.

6.           Continuously assesses and improve processes related to file completeness and compliance.

7.           Establishes and maintains effective recordkeeping systems to manage client files. This includes implementing appropriate filing systems, organizing and archiving documents, and ensuring confidentiality and data protection in accordance with corporate and regulatory requirements.

8.           Prepares reports and documentation related to file completeness and compliance for the Management Teams. This includes the accuracy of file reviews, compliance assessments, and any identified issues or corrective actions taken.

 

As Compliance & Operations Analyst you recognize yourself in the following profile:

·        You have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field (business, project management, quality management)

·        You have strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus).

·        You are familiar with compliance principles, including anti-money laundering (AML), know your customer (KYC), and data privacy.

·        You have strong analytical abilities to assess risks, identify compliance issues, and interpret regulatory requirements.

·        You pay attention to detail, which helps with identifying gaps, errors, or inconsistencies.

·        You have basic knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

·        You work well in a team and collaboration with colleagues from various departments is valuable to you.

·        Your knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, database management, and document management systems is strong.

·        You have a willingness to learn and grow in the field of compliance.
