René Kempkes is a Partner in our Tax Services practice with more than 30 years of experience in Suriname and the Dutch Caribbean region. He supports clients in navigating complex tax compliance requirements and strategic planning challenges, helping businesses remain compliant while identifying opportunities for sustainable tax efficiency.
His core areas of expertise include corporate and private tax planning and advisory, international tax (re)structuring, and general tax matters. René regularly assists multinational and local clients with cross-border structures, particularly between the Netherlands, Suriname and the Dutch Caribbean and advises businesses as well as high-net-worth individuals on effective tax strategies.
With a practical and forward-thinking approach, René focuses on delivering clear and efficient tax solutions that align with his clients’ long-term objectives. Outside of his professional work, he enjoys off-road biking and spending time working in the garden.
