What does your work look like?

As an IT Auditor within the Advisory Operations Center, you are going to work for customers who operate both nationally and internationally. The customers portfolio varies from government, trust, insurance, banks, retail and schools. In a nutshell the IT Auditor is responsible for assessing and evaluating an organization's information technology systems and processes to ensure they are secure, reliable, and compliant with relevant regulations and industry standards. They identify risks, evaluate controls, and provide recommendations to improve the overall security and effectiveness of the organization's IT environment.

What we are looking for

The GT Ambassador:

              Is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive audit plans based on identified risks and objectives

              Conducts risk assessments of IT systems, processes, and controls to identify potential vulnerabilities and risks

              Evaluates the effectiveness of IT controls and security measures in place to protect data and systems.

              Assesses compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

              Performs audit procedures, including interviewing key personnel, reviewing documentation, and conducting system walkthroughs.

              Utilizes automated auditing tools to gather evidence and perform data analysis.

              Prepares detailed audit reports summarizing findings, including identified weaknesses and recommendations for improvement.

              Collaborates with IT and business teams to ensure the implementation of recommended improvements and corrective actions.

              Monitors the ongoing effectiveness of controls and perform follow-up audits as needed.

              Stays up to date with emerging IT risks, industry trends, and regulatory changes.

As IT Auditor you recognize yourself in the following profile:

1.           You have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Accounting, Information Technology or Business engineering or a related field (including relevant certifications);

2.           You have a CISA or CISSP accreditation;

3.           Proven experience working in IT audit or a related field;

4.           Strong knowledge of IT governance frameworks, regulatory requirements, and industry standards;

5.           You have strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus);

6.           Familiarity with auditing principles and practices;

7.           Excellent analytical, problem-solving and project management skills;

8.           Strong attention to detail and ability to work with complex technical information;

9.           Effective communication skills, both written and verbal;

10.        Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team;

11.        Proficient in using auditing tools and software.
